Patients Information | Infection

Infection of bone is called Osteomyelitis and joint is called septic arthritis. When treatment of bone and joint infection is done in time then the recovery is uneventful. Many times due to lack of medical facility esp. orthopaedic surgeon this cases go unnoticed leading to complications. In urban area where medical facilities are available, inadvertent use of antibiotics may subdue the symptoms giving false security to patient, leading to late presentation and complications.
