Five year old Komal with bowing of one leg  Five year old Komal with bowing of one leg

Five year old Komal was brought to COC with bowing of one leg. On proper inquiring and after going through her old records the cause of the deformity was infection in her leg bone (tibia). Komal had developed bone infection (osteomyelitis)in her tibia. Due to not taking treatment in her infection had eaten up the bone making it very weak. The weak bone fractured, after that she took treatment for her infection but meanwhile the bone healed in crocked position. This led to shortening of her leg and difficulty in walking.

She successfully underwent surgery by conventional method and her deformity was completely corrected and she resumed her life without any handicap.  She successfully underwent surgery by conventional method and her deformity was completely corrected and she resumed her life without any handicap.  She successfully underwent surgery by conventional method and her deformity was completely corrected and she resumed her life without any handicap.
